The new series includes ROLLER 20 and ROLLER 20X, two solutions built on ALIFAX Quantitative Capillary Photometry and designed around different laboratory workflow requirements. Both models combine rapid ESR measurement with automated sample management, allowing laboratories to integrate ESR testing efficiently into their daily routine.
Fast results when the laboratory needs them
With an ESR result in 17.5 seconds per sample, the first result available in less than 4 minutes and a throughput of up to 180 samples per hour, the ROLLER 20 Series is designed to provide rapid access to ESR results while helping laboratories maintain an efficient routine workflow.
Continuous sample loading and automatic tube ejection on keep samples moving throughout the analytical process, while integrated barcode reading and LIS connectivity support sample identification and result traceability. A touchscreen interface, guided visual indications and automated functions further simplify everyday operation.
Innovation designed around the laboratory workflow
At the heart of the new series is ALIFAX Quantitative Capillary Photometry, the technology behind the ALIFAX ESR portfolio. ALIFAX ESR technology is recognized by CLSI and ICSH as an alternative method for ESR testing, supporting standardized testing in modern clinical laboratories.
The ROLLER 20 Series works directly with EDTA tubes used for routine CBC testing, without requiring sample dilution. Automated sample mixing, washing functions and measurement at a controlled temperature of 37°C contribute to a streamlined analytical process.
ROLLER 20X: advanced sample management
Within the new series, ROLLER 20X extends the workflow capabilities of the platform with advanced sample management designed for laboratories that need to accommodate different testing situations within the same routine.
Its external sampling capability with a dedicated probe enables low-volume sampling, while the STAT function supports the management of priority samples without compromising routine testing. ROLLER 20X accommodates up to 20 samples and combines these additional capabilities with the automation and connectivity of the ROLLER 20 platform.
