1.
URINE CULTURE
The sensitivity threshold can be programmed
from 1 to > 106 CFU/ml. The strongly positive samples are flagged after only 45 minutes from the
analysis start.
2.
R.A.A. test RESIDUAL ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITY
The R.A.A. test is very important to avoid false negative samples
caused by an indiscriminate antibiotic treatment or antibiotic-like
substances. R.A.A. test results are simultaneously obtained
with bacterial growth results.
3.
CLINICAL SUSCEPTIBILITY TEST
Customized antibiotic profiles for specific therapies allow
each hospital to choose the pharmacologic treatment. Starting
directly from the positive urine sample, HB&L reduces the
use of generic wide-spectrum drugs and permits the therapeutic
attack with the correct antibiotic showing clinical activity.
4.
HUMAN BIOLOGICAL LIQUIDS - HBL
Bacterial Culture, R.A.A. and susceptibility test results on
Human Biological Liquids are obtained in 6 hours instead of
5 days.
